Looking for Outstanding Paella in Northern NJ

I am looking for the BEST Paella in northern NJ. I have tried all the Ferry St. Places in Newark but they are tourist traps IMHO. Can anyone direct me to something special near Wayne? I am willing to travel up to 40 mins.

Segovia in Moonachie. Gets crowded on weekends, get there early. Love the paella and baked stuffed lobster.

Valerie, I went to the link you placed for Segovia and it looks really great however didn't see the Paella on there. Perhaps I just missed it...

You are right, but they have it. The menu is actually much more extensive than what appears on the website. And they have several varieties of paella.

Segovia is outstanding! It is one of my favorite restaurants. As Valerie stated it does get crowded on weekends. We try to go during the week to avoid a long wait.

Another Good Place is El Cid in Paramus although I think Segovia has them slightly beat over all on most of the meals.

Another vote for Segovia here! One of the best restaurants in NNJ. As everyone said, it does tend to get crowded, so I usually go around 4pm or so on a Saturday when it isn't so bad.....

Ironbound and Ferry Street in general provides value, but I feel it's more quantity than quality in most cases....

There are two other places that may be what you are looking for

Sabor in North Bergen and Hawthorne or Tapas de Espana in North Bergen.
