MSP Restaurants for Thanksgiving

It's a bit early to be thinking about Thanksgiving, but it'll arrive sooner than I expect.

My husband works until 5 on Thanksgiving Day. I'm interested in going out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner but am wondering whether most restaurants would close early those days.

I know there are some restaurants that serve good Thanksgiving meals - do you think any of them would still be open around 6? If so, do you have any suggestions?

I recommend the St. Paul Grill for Thanksgiving - we have done it a couple of times and been very happy. I do not know for sure that they are open around 6, but I think it is likely.

We've done Kincaid's for a few years, and it's always great. I think it's open relatively late as we usually eat around then.

I've had many a Thanksgiving dinner at local restaurants. My recollection is that several are open until at least 8 or 9. Certainly, I would expect that hotel restaurants would be have relatively normal hours.

Jax does a very nice Thanksgiving dinner if you sit in the main dining room. They also have a buffet arrangement in the banquet rooms upstairs, which is OK but not fabulous. However, I'm not sure how late they'll be open - call them to check.
