Bargain Bites 2009 - from the Chronicle, anyone have the hardcopy version?

hhc Oct 2, 2009 10:53 PM

I read the online version, but it's not showing the list of "our favorite inexpensive dim sum restaurants and a tour of great Korean finds in Sunnyvale." Anyone willing to type this out?

Online version of Bargain Bites 2009 list:

How did Koi Palace get on the bargain bites list? Just wondering, perhaps I'm missing something like a special or time.

Presumably because the Chron's definition of "bargain" here $6 a plate, which is about twice what it should be and more than most dishes even at Yank Sing. And how many people order only five plates for two?

Thank you Cynsa. Could you please post the "tour of great Korean finds in Sunnyvale" too? Would really appreciate it.

thanks for the South Bay Korean list, kc72 - I've been sitting in the sun all day at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, while all the other 'hounds are chowing together at the Chow Picnic...

np, I was getting sick to my stomach while having dinner and watching the CAL game -- not from the food either.

Can't see this as a bargain - overpriced dim sum (which I know some favor - but NOT bargain prices) and the rest of their menu is pricey!!!!
Now real bargain places like Little Schezuan and Little Shanghai -with excellent food weren't even mentioned. Nor was Mango - San Mateo :(

I had mentioned above that my comment was about ABC seafood Foster City but somehow it doesn't seem to be there
