Looking for fun, quality cooking classes with good chefs.
Have any of you been to any Seattle area cooking classes?
Not the type of long term college style class, but more social, fun and good quality classes.
We would love some feedback from those who have personally gone to ones they enjoyed.
Thanks in advance for your help!
both northgate (206/386-4283) and bitter lake (206/684-0227) community centers have offered a series of individual cooking classes taught by a certified executive chef who ran a culinary school before retiring - they also have wonderful culinary tours of pike place market for parties of 5 or more which include a seated lunch.
I've been meaning to attend, but haven't found the time quite yet (thanks for the elbowing) to go to one of Lisa Dupar's cooking classes.
I enjoy what comes our of her kitchen (Pomegranate and events) and on the occasions I've met her, she seems like a lovely person, so I am deriving that I'd enjoy one of her classes.
If you make it to one before I do, please report back.
