Multiple Restaurants--Chowhound opinions

Has anyone been to the new location of Cafe Troia? Has the menu changed? Have always favored this restaurant and believe that it is one of Baltimore's best Italian.

Now, what about Alizee? No comments have appeared. Is that because no one has been there as yet/ The website menu appears to be very promising.

BTW, there hasn't been any "activity" regarding Louisiana Restaurant. Haven't been there in way too many years. My hubby and I enjoyed the times we dined there. We loved the atmosphere and the food was quite sumptious. But, alas, it's been quite some time ago. We realize that changes occur. FoiGras

Thanks for the info. Actually, it has helped me to decide on where to dine on Thanksgiving Day. It was a toss-up between Cafe Troia, Charleston, or the Prime Rib. Happy Holiday. FoiGras

I went to Louisiana earlier this year and once again had a very good meal with friendly service, in a half empty restaurant on a Saturday night. I don't understand why this place does not get more appreciation

Glad to hear that someone appreciates Louisiana Restaurant. When I recall the time I dined there, it also was a Saturday evening, but about 5 or 6 years ago. It wasn't crowded, but we were there quite early about 6p.m.

But, I would hope that others would find the venue to be quite unique as to some wonderful offerings, such as foie gras, etc.

What, if I may ask, did you order? Perhaps if you described some of the items you dined on, it would propel others to dine at Louisiana. It seems to be one of the few left non-chain, upscale restaurants in Baltimore.

          Thanks for your input. FoiGras
