Salsa di noci...

  • 2

I'm on the hunt for a northern Italian pasta sauce called salsa di noci. It's a walnut cream sauce, traditionally served over pansoti, which are triangle shaped spinach and ricotta ravioli.

It is so delicious! But I haven't been able to find a restaurant (or a store) here in NY that serves/sells it - most Italian places here are more southern based than northern.

Anyone know where I can find some?

  1. I saw this in another thread, I haven't been here, but is this what you're looking for?

Staten Island: Spinach ravioli in walnut sauce at Trattoria Romana near the Old Town train stop
Technically, Staten Island is part of NYC

    1. I can recommend this one, at $30 for 4x4.6oz jars --
