Looking for dinner restaurant recommendations in the area around Rodanthe/Waves/Salvo - or anywhere on Hatteras Island - what's good, what's good to avoid? No particular cuisine - Thanks!

There's not a whole lot in the immediate Rodanthe/Waves/Salvo area. Your best bet is to plan on either cooking in, or driving up to Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills. if you do a search on here you'll find lots of suggestions for NH/KDH.
