Las Vegas restaurant for a group of 10?

First my apologies as I know this has most likely been on the board more than once. However I'm taking my husband to Vegas for his 40th in February, along with 4 other couples and we need a restaurant for his birthday dinner. Price is not a concern, but we're looking for good food and great fun atmosphere. Have batted around the idea of Craftsteak? The age group is 35 - 42, likely staying away from french food or really high end fine dining. Group is well travelled for the most part. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

  1. Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY is a lot of fun and the food is excellent. I've hosted several events with 10 or more there and it's always been a hit-the lamb is wonderful. Menu here

Can also recommend Gallagher's Steakhouse also at's the Las Vegas "branch" of the New York City steakhouse of the same name. The steaks were very fine when we dined there recently.

    1. One of the advantages of Craftsteak is that the seating tends to be spacious and comfortable, and it can handle a group of 10 with no problem. I'm not sure if it has the "fun atmosphere" you are looking for. The lighting is darkish and the ambiance is cool, and not particularly lively or "fun."
