....wurst

October has come and its time for Oktoberfest.

Where can I find the best german or other east-european wurst?

Salamico in VSL. Nitrate-free and lower in fat that many supermarket saucisses.

I just bought some great sausages at William J Walter, not sure about the Oktoberfest ones, but if you are into different flavors, the chevre and mango were outstanding.

Not a big fan of WJW personally. Over processed and also de-fattened. Maybe good for the belly, but bland testing. Their Swiss smoked one with cheese is my favorite.
