  1. At 5pm on a Sunday, the noise level will be almost non-existent. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic. I'd stick with it.

I went to Pylos with a friend in the summer and it was fantastic. We were seated around 7:30 and the noise was very bearable. We found it to be really reasonable and the service very warm. My friend doesn't eat red meat or shellfish so we stuck with vegetarian items which were still substantial. We shared our food with the very lively guys at the table next to us who I think ordered about half the items on the menu. Their lamb chops were amazing and I loved the country greek salad and the assorted dips. I don't recall much in the way of dessert- you may want to call the restaurant and see about ordering a birthday cake.
