Subs anyone?

I am trying to find a good sub shop. Where in the Baltimore/Catonsville area can I get something worthwhile? FoiGras

I like the subs from Scittinos on Edmonson Ave. Also sometimes go to Tony's in the HMart shopping center, but Scittinos is best around in my opinion.

Well, we live very near Bella Mia Pizza (corner of Rt 103 & Rt 104 in Ellicott City) so we
get their subs periodically and I like them. Especially their Gondola. But have you gone to Nora Cafe on Rt. 40? Not sure they have subs because I can't get past their panini's.

Real Thing in Towson Maryland. 412 York Road. They have awesome subs. I highly recommend a Steak and Provolone sub. The guy who owns the place is awesome, nice, and he is usually the one who makes your food. 9" Sub is nice size too. Filling & Tasty. Avoid the chains Jerry's and Subway next door..go to Real Thing.

It's on Rt 40 in the Normandy Village Shopping Center, next to a small, now-closed Safeway. The owners may be Lebanese? Not sure of their ethnicity. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have quite a local following. Breakfasts are fine, basic stuff. We haven't been for dinner yet. Lunch - various sandwiches, wraps. paninis, ,etc and soup. Excellent quality, fresh, very good. All the sandwiches come with potato chips, unfortunately, but the quality of the sandwich ingredients makes up for this little disappointment. I'm with elgringoviejo, we are big fans and we've not been dissappointed yet.
