La Scala and Dinner

On our next trip to Milan I want to get tickets to an opera at LaScala. The only daunting issue, is going to where to have dinner. The opera starts at about 8:15, and doesn't end until 11-ish. I can't imagine what would be open in Milan at that hour . Any suggestions?

What do the Milanese do? They don't like to eat early at 6-6:30, and 11 is after most restaurants close... Sounds like a real problem!

    Aw, c'mon, Italy Ch-ers! Doesn't anybody out there have any input on this topic? Nobody familiar with Milan?

      You'll find plenty of options such as:
