How Do I Remove Melted Rubber Spatula Stains from Greenpan Thermolon?

I let the burner on an electric stove (not mine) I was using get too hot and melted a rubber spatula onto my wife's Todd English Greenpan braiser. I'd love to make her happy without having to buy a new pan. Is there any safe way to clean off the burned material/stains without compromising the thermolon?

  1. Theoretically, that rubber spatula -- melted and all -- should have slid right out of the Greenpan, but as you (and countless others, including me) have discovered, Greenpan is not as advertised. After the first two or three uses, EVERYTHING sticks. However, if you contact them directly, they will replace the pan, no questions asked, free of charge. Maybe you will have better luck than I did.
