Stone st restaurants

I read that there were a number of restaurants on Stone St, which is nearby our hotel. Are these just touristy chains, or does anyone know if there is good food to be found there? Thanks!

Waterstone does a good job with seafood, and Mad Dog is fun for Mexican. Try Perle around the corner for French. I agree with small h about not being worth a trip, but most places on the street are decent.

I enjoy Harry's for brunch. Brunch entrees come with unlimited champagne.

I don't think any of the restaurants on Stone St. are chains. I've been to Smorgas Chef and Adrienne's and can recommend both (only because you're in the area - neither is worth a special trip).

I'd second both the Adrienne's and Smorgas Chef recs. Recently, I sat outside at Smorgas Chef and had a delicious smoked salmon app and some terrific Sweedish meatballs. It's a great option.
