Chicken Soup

Down with flu/cold like symptoms. Could use some home made chicken soup. Mcewan's is around the corner, noticed they had jarred homemade soup. Any suggestions for either eat-in, or takeout. Leslie/York Mills area,

Nortown at Bayview and York Mills is the place that comes to mind. I haven't tried theirs, but they do jar their own.

Regina's makes excellent chicken soup, and if not mistaken I believe Nortown carries it.

In a pinch, when sick and not up to going out, I keep a box of manischevietz chicken soup and matzoh ball mix in the pantry. Surprisingly, it's not bad at all.

Hope you feel better soon. My hubby is in bed with the same thing.

[I keep a box of manischevietz chicken soup and matzoh ball mix in the pantry. ] This is the best for a "boxed" soup. Chenoy's in DDO (Montreal) served it as their home made version. Many stores carry it including Nortown.
