Need a sit-down hot chocolate and coffee spot

There used to be a couple of places where you could get hot chocolate and coffee; reasonable-to-good vibe, but I don't remember where they were. I know a couple of places in the East 70s, uptown, but I need one south of, say, 23 street. Anybody help?

I like Jacques Torres but IIRC they have weird little round tables and round low stools, not really comfy in my opinion.

I like that counter -style thing they've got going on there. But it is small-ish, so if the seats are already taken, then you're out of luck.

        For a different take, DespaƱa.

It's stool seating, no table service, right?

Stool seating. They will bring you your drink/food once it's prepared, but you order at the counter.
