5 words: brussel sprout pizza with pancetta. absolutely unbelievable and conceivably the best pizza i've had in manhattan. the margherita is also fantastic. service was fine and wine selection was good. wait for 2 was only about 30 minutes. highly highly suggested.

Really tasty stuff. Some people are afraid of brussel sprouts, but don't make that mistake at Motorino! You must try it. The staff is also attentive and friendly. Quite a drastic change from Una Pizza Nepolitana. . .

I also thought service was fine. Didn't try the brussel sprouts one, but loved the spicy sopressata (what pepperoni aspires to me) and the olive oil/salt (no tomatoes, no sauce) ones. Excellent.

I have always been a fan of the Philly location, so I was excited when his NYC restaurant opened. Everything was good enough - great food, decent service. My only objection was that I was served sushi after specifically ordering sashimi.

That may seem somewhat trivial, but in a restaurant like Morimoto, when you're paying over $300 for your dinner, you just expect to receive what you order.

Other than that - the downstairs lounge and the restrooms are great fun. If you don't know about the restrooms here - you should check them out :)

MORIMOTO (big glitzy sushi restaurant) is different from MOTORINO (small artisanal pizza joint). :)

Ha! "Motorino now serves sushi?!" I was equally floored by the "revelation" that they had a philly location as well as two in new york.

I just had the brussels sprout and pancetta pizza a few nights ago as well. It was very, very tasty. I always have a margherita pie first from a place as a sort of benchmark, so i get a sense of their crust.
