Any feedback on this spot? All I hear is that its over priced but if their fried chicken is worth trying then I'll give it a shot.

Would love some shared feedback.

go to the boneyard bistro for fried chicken in the Valley, meaning Sherman Oaks, ventura two blocks east of Woodman, nearly adjacent to Starbux. Only served on Monday nights, but plan accordingly, as in, I will probably go tomorrow. Not the cheapest you will find, but oh so good. The KFC-bearded wonder will NEVER come to mind, except in why did I wait so long to convert.
Light or dark selections, quarter, half and full portions.

I wish these reviews were posted before I went.

By far the worst tasting food ever, as well as being expensive.

I do love Boneyard's fried chicken but they only serve it on Monday nights.

And then try the gumbo place in the farmer's market in Hollywood. The worst place I've ever been (except for Thomas Keller's Bouchon in Vegas). I think I'm going to start making gumbo instead of trying to find it.

I've been several times (for the entertainment), but only dined once. The entree tasted like a box of salt had been spilled in the batter..so I sent it back. I must have ticked someone in the kitchen off, because they sent my plate back with the entree 'perfect"...but with extra salt on the side orders. On the flip side, some diners were quite happy with their meals...but I'll never eat there again. On a side note, IF you do go...go early or NOT on a night when they have live entertainment, Neither the kitchen or waitstaff handles crowds well.
