Vinto Pizzeria in Salt Lake City?

Has anyone eaten at Vinto Pizzeria yet? When I walked by the other day it looked very busy and seemed to have a really hip atomosphere. I went in to get a menu and I saw some great looking salads and pizzas coming out of the open kitchen. They had a good review in Salt Lake Magazine (http://www.saltlakemagazine.com/Blogs...), but wanted to hear from a true chowhound.

    I last ate there roughly a year ago and my experience was supremely average. It was my first and only visit. Service was marginal. My date and I ordered some kind of overpriced house special flatbread which was dry and bland. Can't comment on anything recent, though.

      The menu is fairly limited, but what they do they do very well, at least for all the times I have been there.

        I'm a huge Vinto fan! They source many of their ingredients locally and have tons of fresh and seasonal items on their menu. The food is top quality and the prices are amazing. Not to mention, they have a great wine list and exceptional service!

          It gets the thumbs up from us, that's for sure. We just posted a review of Vinto as our latest article actually. There has been some staffing changes at the head chef level since though, fingers crossed that doesn't impact them.
