Confection Perfection in Bucks County?

Has anyone had cake from Confection Perfection? I need to order a cake for my daughters christening and they seem to have a great variety of flavors, and good pricing. I have not heard anything about them though.

Well I liked the cake they made for my daughters christening so much I went ahead and ordered the same cake for her first birthday party! I'm not a big fan of the traditional vanilla sheet cake with sticky sweet icing. I got a round chocolate/rasberry cake, filled with rasberry buttercream and covered in choocolate ganache, decorated with rainbow color cascading flowers and the number 1! Very excited. I did get her a plain vanilla "smash" cake too, the thought of my daughter covered in that cake would be cute but imposible to clean!

Note to the mods: you might want to move this to the Philly board.

Wish I had seen this sooner; I have had multiple experiences with this bakery. The only disappointment was my friend's wedding cake but probably due to poor communication between them all. Glad everything went well!!!

Also, the disappointment was only with the look of it; it still tasted great!

Heres an update - I went ahead and ordered the cake from this bakery and it was AMAZING. I got a three tier chocolate rasberry cake, layered with rasberry buttercream, iced with dark chocolate ganache, and topped with buttercream flowers. Tasted amazing, super moist, the buttercream was not overly sweet, the ganache was delicous. And the cake was gorgeous, the restaurant where I hosted the christening commented that it was by far the prettiest cake he'd seen. All the guests loved it.

We have gotten several cakes from there. I have never seen a cake sitting in the case. I believe they only bake to order, as far as cakes are concerned. We've been particularly happy with the half chocolate and half vanilla layer cake. They make a tremendous strawberry short cake. It's one of a dwindling number of places that does not make a sickeningly sweet icing.

Wow I haven't even heard of them...I own my own small cake business, Cakes by Suzy (see online) and I've heard of several of the bakeries in the area but have not heard of them. Did you do a search for reviews?
