So my husband and I are going to NO in November for a long weekend. I am very much looking forward to sightseeing and eating; he sightseeing and drinking. I love shimp, oysters, crawfish, and everything else of that variety. He however does not. I am looking for some suggestions where we will both be happy. Extra points if the places are pretty inexpensive. I am a big fan of good food that is cheap. Thanks.

Two Tony' s Restaurant or liuzza's

Depending on what "pretty inexpensive means," I would add Cochon, Boucherie (mostly meat but some seafood--all delicious--very reasonable), Jacques-Imo. Meauxbar Bistro is a reasonably priced and very nice place to have dinner. They have catfish, crab cakes, a wonderful fried oyster salad, but also steak, duck, a really good burger.

Mandina's, The Galley Seafood, Liuzza's, Parkway Bakery, Parasol's are good places for less expansive but expansive menus.
