No kidding. What with this and Herrell's is supposedly turning into First Printer Restaurant, Bar, and Grill (http://www.thecrimson.com/article.asp... ), there does seem to be rather an overabundance of tavern/pub style places.

It's only going to get worse- in the down economy, everyone seems to have decided casual dining is the way to go.

Too true. It would be nice if people opening causal restaurants in Harvard Square were a bit more creative, though -- something like Tupelo or a decent Chinese restaurant would be a lot more exciting than another Grafton St.

On the upside, I assumed this was implying yet another Tavern In The Square, which is a spot that I loathe.
