where to buy large quantities of bocconcini (bite size mozzarella balls!) in LA?

We checked Costco in Glendale today and did not find that shape/size. Anyone know where one might purchase large bags or jars of these for hors d'ourvres assembly?

Costco in Marina del Rey had them a couple years ago, at least, in individual plastic tubs of liquid in the open-top refrigerated area. Might be worth trying another Costco. These were cheap for what you got and quite good.

Buy it straight from Gioia in South El Monte. Give them a call. They're only open on weekdays

        626 444 6015 is gioia's number. 3 lb tub of 1/3 oz. balls is about $12

get some burrata while you are there!!!

Thank you both for letting me know about Gioia. $12 for that many cheese balls is sort of life-changing knowledge. I'm sure it will be more than worth the drive to El Monte! I see these in my future.

They are terrific. I've had them make them to my specs on the spot, but they were in the middle of a batch so it was no problem. I had them do 1/8lb balls, great for individual portions. Normally the burrata is in 1lb size.
