Pickeled Sausage

OK, we won't get started into how unhealthy and all that...

Anyone know of a source in Monmouth/Ocean County?

        Thanks, jfed. I don't know if I can help you find a source, but for a moment, I was drinking 65 cent Yeunglings underage at the Tap Room in Reading acquiring a taste for food from jars! I particularly remember a ring bologna that was pickled in a sambal oelek-type substance - ungodly hot! Typically, no one ate the stuff unless dared or drunk (usually both). Mmmm, and pickled beet eggs, beef jerky . . . .

        To the point - perhaps the German Butcher (D.A. Barsch, I think is the name) in Toms River or Miletto in Brielle are worth calling?

        If you find some, especially in a bar (I don't want to see the look on my wife's face that would result from my bringing a jar into the house), please let us know?
