One person's historic take on Toronto dining

  • 1

I don't remember how I found the following , but it's one persons take on what and where to eat when you are stuck in Toronto for a conference. It names places that are now merely folklore, but many have survived. I recognise that these may not be all chow picks, but I wish when I went to a distant city I could find the equivalent of this document, even as a basis for research. I admire its brevity and relative accuracy.

I hope you find it interesting.

  1. I'm mentioned in the document as one of the sources... and I wrote one of my own for a conference in my subfield in Toronto in 1987. Unfortunately, I don't think I could lay hands on a copy now. It mentioned places like Greg Couillard's first restaurant...
