Grants, NM - breakfast, lunch and dinner

When I searched, I got mostly responses like "granted..."

I would like suggestions for casual meals in Grants, NM.

I can't handle "very spicy" New Mexican cuisine. There is something in the chiles that doesn't agree with my Texan tummy.

So, suggestions for something not too spicy that I can't find at home?

We will be there during the week.

Most places in this area of New Mexico will feature dishes that include chile. That being said, you might try La Ventana. It's been a long time (4-5 years) but they did a decent steak the last couple of times we went there. Also, Badlands just won an award for its green chile cheeseburger, however, I'm sure it's not the only thing they serve. Even more casual is Lottaburger, great burgers, fries and shakes. The truck stop in Milan, Petro, has decent diner fare. Unfortunately, that's all I got. There's not alot to choose from in Grants. Have a safe trip!

Thanks for the suggestions. I too found a few posts about the burger award for Badlands. Perhaps they will make a mean cheese burger too.
