Any recommendations for casual lunch near Sofitel?

We are looking for lunch spots near the Sofitel. We would prefer a place with creative sandwiches and salads. Walking distance from the Sofitel is a plus!

Real Food Daily on La Cienega has great salads. Lots of vegan items, and the quality of the food is really good.

Although famous for his great pizzas, Vitos has a great selection of hot sandwiches, especially his eggplant parmigiana and meatball. Just throwing that out there among all these great recommendations. It is a long walk, however.

Not 100% what you're looking for, but Chicken Lady on San Vicente is incredible for chicken and you can get a sandwich

Walking north up to La Cienega and Melrose (~10 minutes), I'm a big fan of Taste on Melrose, east of La Cienega.

West from La Cienega, you've got Urth Caffe-- sandwiches, salads, great coffee and pastries, and a scene-- and Le Pain Quotidien (of which I am NOT a fan but many others are).

Breadbar, Joan's on Third, Lemonade [9001 Beverly @ Almont] and Little Next Door are all relatively close, though, of the four, only Breadbar and Joan's would probably be considered walkable by most.

All three good suggestions. Not sure if Lemonade is even open on Saturdays. Bristol Farms grocery store on Beverly at Doheny is a good suggestion for all grocery needs beyond the lunch request here, and it is about a 6-8 block walk west on Beverly Blvd.
