We're recently engaged and would like to have a small reception in Montréal (read: no more than 20) but would like to have good food....at a good price. Also, need real vegetarian options, since half of wedding party is veg. What would be an intimate, different location in Montréal? We've thought of Rumi's so far. Merci!

If you're looking for a great gourmet caterer for a non-restaurant venue, try Danielle Garonce. I had dinner at a party she catered and it was outstanding. I think she's ideal for smaller parties like yours and can do full plate service, hors d'oeuvres, bar, etc. http://www.daniellegaronce.com

I was going to suggest my wedding caterer, Agnus Dei, but a lamb méchoui might not go too well if half the party is vegetarian!

Congrats on the engagement.
