Lunch Brunch recommendation in Dorchester
I will be participating in a 5K in Dorchester on Saturday with a group from work. I am looking for a recommendation of a place to go for lunch/brunch with about 8 people in workout clothes. Any suggestions?

Will you have cars? If so, it's only a couple of exits to the Marketplace Cafe at the Fruit Center in East Milton Square. Or maybe the Wheelhouse Diner in North Quincy? That's not far from the Neponset Bridge. Or Gerard's in Adams Village, though I'm not all that fond of the place.

Where in Dorchester? It's kind of a big place. Slightly more casual than Ashmont Grill in the Adams Village section of Dot is Blasi's. Just half a block or so up from the Erie Pub on Adams Street (on the other side). You can sit down for table service but it's pretty casual. It also doubles as a take-out deli so they have good sandwiches in addition to salads, burgers etc.
