most authentic galbi in the area

I'm looking for the best pork galbi in the DC area. I lived in Korea for a year, and I will be going this weekend with two people who also lived in Korea (one of whom is ethnically Korean) and two who are generally adventurous eaters. Marinated, unmarinated, both are good. We don't care about the bulgogi, although good pajeon and/or naengmyun will be duly noted. (Proximity to Korean karaoke parlors is also a plus.)

I saw some posts that were about specific restaurants and one asking about the best general Korean, but none of this nature. We are willing to drive into Virginia or Maryland, but not as far as Baltimore.

TIA!

for the specific item you a looking for (korean pork ribs), try annangol. There is also a Karaoki place within walking distance. Honeypig i heard does a good job but I've not had it there before. I've had the samgupsar and few other pork dishes but not the ribs.

Han sung oak does beef ribs well but didn't care fore the pork stuff and same with YeChon.

Since Soup's Korean, I'd trust him.

I have heard good things about the galbi at Han Sung Oak which is in Falls Church and not Annandale like most of the Korean places. But, Han Sung Oak can get pricey.

If your and your guests start to desire other meats, the usual best bet is Honey Pig Gooldaegee: http://welcome.bz/serv/red/home.asp?b... No galbi, but pork belly that invades my dreams...
