Best place for dinner and drinks?

I'm looking for the best place in New Orleans to have dinner and fabulous drinks. I'm looking for a cool place for my 10 college friends on Friday night. We want to have drinks and dinner without being rushed. Thanks!

Coquette on Magazine. Great food and one of the most fun and interesting cocktail menus I have ever seen. They infuse their own liquor and offer southern spins on old classics as well as some very innovative new creations. They have a southern version of a Manhatton that is made with bacon infused bourbon it is not to be missed, even if you dont normally care for Manhattons.

You will need a resv. at Coquette. Cocktails are creative. We took our son and ordered 6 (or was it 9??) and passed them around. Food is good too.

I did this recently with 6 people at Coquette and it was a perfect meal and a perfect evening. Try the Le Reve cocktail.
