(I know, he could go to a place that serves shellfish as long as they are careful about cross-contamination, but this is a relatively new allergy, and he's just learning to manage it. If you know of a place that is very aware of allergies but serves shellfish, feel free to recommend those and his wife can check them out for him) So vegetarian, kosher, are good starts, but open to anything.
