Week in Montreal and Quebec City - What to eat??

My husband and I are heading to Montreal for 2 days and Quebec City for 4 starting this weekend. Looking for some recommendations on food. Is there a good crepe or brunch place to try?

Love Italian food and would like to try some good French cuisine. No seafood (husband isn't a fan). Will probably have 2 or 3 really nice meals and then look around for more casual dining options to rest of the time.

This is our first trip to the area so we'll probably be staying close to the city and relying on public transit. Staying in Old Quebec and downtown Montreal. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Chez Temporel in QC has maybe the WORLD'S BEST croissants. Soups are homey and high quality.

Beauty's and Lucca looks perfect for Montreal. My husband likes big portions and I'm more interested in fine dining, so Lucca looks like a good compromise. Thanks!

        For brunch: Beauty's
For Italian (fine cuisine, but you can dress casual), go to Little Italy, and absolutely to Lucca. Lucca Restaurant
        12, rue Dante

The daily menu is written on a chalkboard. Talk to Terry, tell him you're from out of town, etc. - he's amazing.

I can go on and on with restaurants, but you should be good with these 2

Thanks for the suggestions! We are staying in upper town about a minute from Chateau Frontenac. New quebec cuisine is something I would definitely like to try.

Just down the hill there's Toast that is splendid. The food is amazingly good.

For Quebec city try this website, it has a map of the city; click on any area on the map and it will list the restaurants. Quebec City is a great place to eat. Apsara is awesome;)
