What is the best room to dine in at Antoines?
They have 15 dining rooms and they all look really cool and are different in their own way. I think the main dining room or annex room may be the best because that seems to be where the most action would take place. On No Reservatns with Bourdain, they sat in like some hallway like room (maybe the Dungeon) and I found that to be kind of creepy. It was like they were secluded from the outside world or something.
What in your opinion would be the most fun or best way to experience Antoine's?

I love the Rex Room for the fact that it is so over the top. It has always reminded me of happy times and Mardi Gras balls, which are never a bad thing. The Rex Room was used for all of my proms too so it has a special place in my heart. But, my favorite room has to be the Escargot room because I have had small groups in there twice and each time the night was more relaxed and fun than some of the fancier rooms. It's pretty small, but great for 8 or so people.

It depends on how many there are in your party. I used to go to the little room in the back by the winecellar with one of my beaus and it was deliciously private and wicked! There are two other rooms back there that are perfect for 4 people. The main room is great for a big party.

That little room is an old favorite..have not had need of that in a long time. We always ate in teh Annex, a/k/a The Barn. The front room was always considered Tourists Only. We used to use the Proteus Room for larger parties but I have a soft spot for the Dungeon as well. Once had a good bachelor party in the Mystery Room but I think that was the only time I ever ate in there.
