Dinner at Boulette's Larder?
Hello! I'm thinking of scheduling a private birthday dinner at Boulette's at the Ferry Building and wondered if anyone on here has thrown one, been to one, or talked with them about scheduling one? I know it's pricey - I have looked at their website and have been there for breakfast and brunch.
Looking for feedback and thoughts on quality of the food, value for the price, working with them, etc.
Thanks in advance!

I've been two a couple of dinners at Boulette's, although it's been a while since the last time I was there. It certainly can be a wonderful experience, especially if the guests are foodies, and it feels like an intimate and personal experience. The food can be great too. While I did not organize the dinners, a couple of things that I know are helpful would be to 1) nail down the menu and specific costs (we had a little surprise about the cost since we weren't aware of the use of truffles - oop$), and 2) find out who will be cooking in the kitchen (we had a "guest" chef one night, and let's just say that we would have preferred he stayed in his day job). But all in all, a private dinner at Boulette's is a unique and intimate experience that everyone will remember.

I've had several private dinners at Boulette's Larder and they are magnificent. The place is completely transformed for the dinners. You feel private and intimate. Impeccable details from flowers to cutlery. The
staff is generous and sincere, and the food sublime. For the service, expertise and quality of the food, it is
not a high price. Its an all around winner.
