Bombay Bhel (Yonge/Sheppard) for lunch buffet

red dragon Sep 22, 2009 03:01 PM

Husband and I have the day off (Wed) which is extremely rare. He loves buffets (me, not so much), so we'd like to pick a good place we've never tried before and given we rarely have a week day off, would like to know if anyone has been to the lunch buffet for Bombay Bhel on Yonge Street?

Does Bombay Bhel even have a lunch buffet? I haven't been there for a while but from what I remember it was all just al a carte.

I had the unfortunate displeasure of eating there once - do not waste your time, money, or calories!

I don't know about Bombay Bhel at Sheppard, but the one at 264 Eglinton West - Well, I tried it once for lunch (all you can eat) - Big disappointment. Then I went for supper : another big disappointment. The tandoori fish was far from tender. The spices were good though... As I am tenecious I tried again 2 days ago: tandoori chicken. I had to return the naan (undercooked) and I had to fight with the chicken (overcooked). Enough is enough. Never again !

Went there once for the lunch buffet. It was somewhat uninspired. Wouldn't go again if I was in the same area.
