I am planning a birthday party for my boyfriend and I was recommended a bunch of caterers in the above mentioned area. Does anybody know these places and can recommend one?

I will respond to my own post in case it is useful to somebody else one day. I ended up using Chestnut Fine Foods in New Haven. They delivered the food and had it set up on the boat before we got there so the service was great. The guests loved the food -- esp the entrees I ordered -- a beef tenderloin with a red wine sauce and a chicken prepared with cheese and artichokes. The cheese platter was great, too, and I selected the specific cheeses on the phone making the order. The antipasta spears were fine. Hope this helps! I would recommend their services.
