Staying near Galleria - need reco's 4 Tues Evening
Looking for a no frills - but great food recommendation. Down from Philly so Italian / French out. enjoy BBQ, Mexican, Tex mex, all forms of Asian, and even gastropub.

Don't miss Hugo's Rest on Weistheimer for the BEST upscale Mex Interior. Also, Lulling City BBQ on Richmond/610.. Go to Kiran's for terrific Indian,, Westheimer. Thai Gourmet on Richmond for authentic Thai cuisine. Heading to NYC next month,, have a needed recs too,,, what goes around comes around.... All near the Galleria,,, Enjoy Jack

Reply thanks for the recommendations - ended up going too Sylvias Enchilada kitchen - and was pretty good. Have been to Lulling and thought it to be very good v- my travel buddy had Q last night and wanted to avoid. Not a NY expert - live in Phila. - happy to point you in the directions when u visit the city of brotherly love. 2 places in NYC both in Grand Central Station - The Oyster Bar - on the way down to the food hall - great and very authentic - go into the back bar. My favorite bar is also in Grand Central and is called the Campbell Apartment - it off to the side of the main entrance - before you go in - best to ask for directions - but worht the effort.
