Recs for dinner Yonge & St Clair area

Hi - any recs for a quiet restaurant for dinner in the Yonge & St Clair area? My "musts" are:
- they take reservations for parties of 4 or less (so that rules out Capocaccia)
- fairly quiet (so that rules out Terroni)
- mains under $25 (Didier's prix fixe is very nice, but a little pricey once you add wine)
- we prefer to stay away from buffet-style dining
Thanks!

A bit further south from St Clair but not too far, how about Brownes Bistro ...

If you're into Indian - try Vivah. They're tucked on the 2nd level of that shopping court. Both service and food are quite good, showing authenticity and a variety of sauces for their dishes. Cozy and intimate setting.

Didier may be pricey, but you will not regret spending the money. He's the real deal. If you're not looking to spend that kind of money, the options in the neighbourhood are limited for "quiet". Browne's is the only other quiet spot in the 'hood. Long past their expiry date, but less expensive than Didier - it's okay, but not worth a trip if you don't live nearby. Mediocre food and lacklustre service. Everything else in the area is "lively" - read noisy. Some other pretty good spots, but nothing quiet.

You may want to try Cava, but the small plates will add up. I agree that Didier is worth the splurge. For a few extra bucks, the food is considerably better than most restaurants in the surrounding area.
