There is nothing chow-worthy right by the Rock Hall. Someday, Cleveland will develop the lake front! My current downtown favorites, which are a reasonable walk or short cab ride from the Rock Hall, are Greenhouse Tavern, Crop Bistro and Michael Symon's Lola. Sorry that "link to a place" doesn't seem to be working.
A short cab ride (or RTA Train Ride) to West 25th Street provides additional possibilities, such as Light Bistro, Bar Cento and The Flying Fig. If you get down to this neighborhood, make sure to stop at the Velvet Tango Room for amazing cocktails and live music.
