Dinner for 15 in/around Meatpacking

Hi - I'm looking for a place to have a dinner for about 15 people in and around the meatpacking. I'm considering The Standard Grill and Son Cubano, but would like an option that is a bit cheaper. Any suggestions?

    Nero could work.

What about Gonzo? They've got a VERY reasonable prix-fixe for a group: $35/person.

Go to the always reliable Fig and Olive (a beautiful setting and tasty, well-price food)...

Yup. Came here to say the same thing. The scene at Fig and Olive will certainly be less over-wrought than at Standard. Son Cubano isn't really all that great for food and is incredibly loud. Though it can be fun, depending on what kind of group you have.

Fig & Olive only offers $85 prix-fixed. Anything else come to mind??

I'm not reccomending Fig & Olive because I find it overpriced and blah BUT I do not believe that you are incorrect about the $85 Prix Fixe. Here is the regular dinner menu:

and the prix fixe menu which is $35

I believe that for groups of more than 8 or 10 they require the more more-expensive-than-usual prix fixe.
