I am loving this because I am in the same boat, non Jewish married to a Jewish man, wanting to learn more about how to cook for the high holidays. Maybe there are other chowhounds in the same boat? This woman makes me laugh.

Sorry if this is not allowed or off topic, but I think I read about Carol Blymire's 'Carol cooks Keller' blog here first so thought it was worth a shot! The more people read this Cook like a Yenta blog the more she might write and I'm really enjoying it. So maybe I'm selfish. ;-)

Too funny! Thanks for the tip. I have two girlfriends who NEED to know about this site. They both got married recently and were in a panic trying to figure out the high holidays last week, what to eat when, etc. This is a good resource. And... it's quite amusing.
Only 9 posts though, so far. I hope she keeps going with it. It's so sad when you get hooked on a blog and the author gets bored and stops posting. Keep going Yenta!!
