Mike and Pattys- Bay Village and a trip to Costco
I stopped into Mike and Pattys on Sunday for a breakfast sandwich. It was even better than the last time I was there. The place was bustling and there was quite a wait for a sandwich, but I was happy to seem them thriving! I highly reccomend trying this place out.
Also took a trip to Costco in Everett- I had not been there in a long time and was pleased to see they now carry italian canned tuna in oil so I bought quite a few cans. They also had a 2lb box for figs for $4 so I had to buy that too.

I'll add to the M&P content in the thread -- my favorites there are the fancy egg sandwich and the migas. Had the breakfast torta last time and that was great as well -- the quantity and quality of food is always top-notch and well worth the price. Hoping to get a lunch sandwich there today after a late morning appointment in town. I've had good luck with getting there in the morning when they open.

its weird to keep clicking on this to read about Mike and Patty's and instead seeing more and more posts about costco. Those two places are definitely on different planets, and its strange that they occupy one thread here.

For those who are used to the long lines at the Waltham Costco, the lines at Everett (and Dedham) generally are much shorter.

re: Blumie
Yes, and they have wider aisles and it's less crowded. If this Costco sold wine, it would definitely be my favorite Costco out of the two. Alas, for now, I still return to Waltham to get wine, beer, etc. http://www.tinyurbankitchen.com/

Man, I've read so much about Mike & Patty's - I can't wait to go. The food there looks absolutely divine. I wonder if there's ever a time when it's less crowded.
I was at Costco Everett yesterday too! Picked up 4 more pounds of prime ribeye, now $11.99 a pound (still a great bargain though!)
