need a new whole wheat challah recipe, please

Mine turned out yummy, but somehow didn't rise...TIA!

    there's also one in the King Arthur Flour Whole Grain Baking cookbook that i've seen mentioned here on CH.

    1. Proof two packages dry yeast with two cups lukewarm water and a teaspoon of sugar.
      In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 c sugar, 1/2 c honey, two eggs, one tablespoon oil - mix. Add in the yeast mixture. Mix in 2 1/2 c whole wheat flour and 4 c regular flour. Mix well, knead, let rise two hours. Prepare your loaves, egg them, and bake for 45 minutes at 350.
