English treats: Where to find a "Jacket Potato" in NYC?

In jolly ole England my favorite late-night snack came from a Jacket Potato cart - a buttery delicious baked potato stuffed with chili, cheese, sour cream and chips. Are there any stands or carts in NYC that offer this treat?

On another note - I found that in England the kebab places all put chips (fries) or offered to put chips on top of the kebab's - anywhere in the city also do this?

  1. Well, there is a cart that does the baked potato thing (that's what we call them here) that used to park on Bway near 40th (I think it's called Golda Meir plaza?). Not sure if they are still there, and the toppings are more american (cheese, broccoli, bacon).

Lastly, I know some Israeli places do what you describe and put fries in the you might check out Olympic Pita or other places in the neighborhood around the potato cart.
