  1. This is a very good authentic Korean restaurant. I'm surprised at this special, as they've always been packed when I've gone.

The trend in OC seems to be to move toward Manna-isation... Cham Sut Gol now has AYCE (previously there were set meals) too.

    2. its decent..never had ayce there...but they do have a large assortment of very good banchan...the meat quality tends to be better than average for the oc... but they might use poorer cuts for ayce..the biggest problem for me is the sweetness of the marinade for the galbi...i get sick of it after a few bites...

Just ask for "saeng kalbi" -- "saeng" means unmarinated.

yeah usually just get that or chadolbaegi when i go to that place but someone inevitably always orders the marinated stuff

      2. We did the ayce bbq there recently although I think it was $19.99

They gave us an assortment, pork belly and brisket came out first (I think to fill you up) then the good stuff I liked the marinated short rib yes it was a little sweet but not so bad(most of the meats they bring out were not marinated). There is a limit on one of the meat type but everything else you can ask for more.

They have probably the best banchan I have had.

It's worth trying. It is kind of an upscale place btw. Almost all of the customers are Korean. Not all of the waitresses are fluent in English.
