Barcelona Restaurants
My wife and I recently returned from a week in Barcelona.
I used the board for some options on restaurants we went to, and I thought I'd fill people in.
Cinc Sentis - had a wonderful dinner there. The service was perfect, the family charming.
We missed the tasting menu because I had the location wrong, so we just did three courses, but everything was great. Price american was $296, including wine , etc.
Gresca -
We had lunch there the day we arrived and liked it so much we had dinner the night before we left. Again, very gracious and top of the line food at, for excellent cuisine, reasonable prices. Lunch was $80 American for three courses and half bottle of wine.
Taioles 53
Off the beaten track but well worth it. You can find a Boston reviewer's review on the net if you look it up. The spinach Gnochhi were as superb as he described them.
Alkimia
Alkimia was an excellent meal, but we found the service a bit cool.
We never made it to Cal Pep's
But if you look for it, be aware that back in July when we were there, there was a huge sign blocking the entrance.
