Where can I find the best chocolate lava cake in Houston???

elttle2 Sep 18, 2009 10:00 AM

I just moved to Houston from NYC less than a year ago, so I don't know the restaurants that well yet.
I have had craving for chocolate lava cake for two weeks now. Just went to Hugo's couple days ago and had the chocolate cake, which was yummy, but that only suppresses my craving for two days!

Anyone can recommend the best chocolate lava cake in town?

Thanks a lot!

    Viva 1990s!

Bank used to have one (Jean George restaurant), but that closed a few years back. I think La Griglia has one on the menu.

I can't comment at all on best but go to the b4-u-eat.com website and search for lava. That will pull up several pages of reviews where it's been mentioned and you'll at least know where its on the menu.

Flemmings on Kirby has an amazing chocolate lava cake. You have to order it with your entree since it takes a while to make. A little on the pricey side but its well worth it.

Dominoes will give you a free one with every pizza purchase. ;)
