Little Kitchen Mamaroneck

Does anyone know anything about this place that's opening on Mamaroneck Ave. (among all of the others)? I can't find any info on it other than the name on the sign. Is it related to The Little Kitchen in Wesport? (The neighborhood doesn't really need any more Asian!) I'm so curious because it's in such a convenient location for me.

little kitchen opened today, a bit disorganized, but nothing major. tried the spring roll and egg roll. only fair but i also tried the chicken in spicy mango sauce, that was very good, i think that that was a better example of their food. also 1st 100 ppl get a card for 10% for a year, that is one reason i went when i did (rushed lunch hour). but i do think the food will be very good. i hope so

I've taken out food several times. I think the food is good, but the portions a little small for the money. They are very slow in getting the orders filled, but i guess good food is worth waiting for.

wandered in while they were working and asked , but they said no relation to lk of westport, it is supposed to be chinese however, near as i can tell. the place looks almost complete and the kitchen area itself is top notch, so should be any day now, and hopefully good

Chinese? Please tell me you are joking Rich. But maybe there is hope - could be a dumpling house or some very regionally specialized type of place or maybe will knock our socks off but we certainly don't need another mediocre Chinese American as much as we don't need more pan-Asian or Japanese.

i now have there menu and it is primarily chinese, although thai spring rolls, sambal delight, curry shicken, thai style and a number of noodle dishes.still not open though, but certainly a well built kitchen *L* . i have high hopes , but nothing to go on yet. they should last longer than harvest market however- the one on the post rd.

Oh, great. Sounds like yet another Asian fusion place.

Not surprised about Harvest Market. They were very nice and I think well intentioned but while some prices were good or at least comparable to elsewhere others were absurdly high and nothing in there was unique or intriguing enough to inspire me go on a regular basis.

It's too bad though. I had high hopes.

Everytime I ask when they will be opening I get a different answer.
I was told they would open on 10/24/09, and than on 11/1/09. Today is 11/2 and they still haven't opened.

I just called Little Kitchen and they said they are open.
I hope their food is good, the other chinese take out places on Mamaroneck Ave. aren't except for Lem Yen which is over priced.
