Bernachon is not overrated, imho, but it is not really a patisserie. They are chocolatiers. The candy is their strength.
Now, if only I could remember the name of the patisserie near my hotel (des Artistes) where I got the macarons last year! Their pastries were super. I t was on a side street off the Place Bellecour.

Actually that is what I meant. Their chocolats are amazing but because of that they are also cited as the best patisserie fairly often which I feel is untrue. Near Place Bellecour there is a place which does fantastic macarons but if memory serves me correct not much out. But yes that place is really nice.
